The Hôtel des Berges and its prestigious restaurant L’Auberge de l’Ill, 3-Michelin star restaurant since 1967, are based in Alsace, in the small village of Illhaeusern, a few miles away from Colmar. The creations of the Chef Marc Haeberlin continue to delight the gastronomy lovers from all over the world.

A collaboration of two architects

Built in 1992 by Marco Braumann, l’Hôtel des Berges offers now a stunning 5-star Spa encouraging resting and relaxation. Its refined structure has been imagined by the famous French designer Patrick Jouin and the Canadian architect Sanjit Manku. The duo has been working together since 2000 and has decided to gather together in 2006 with the creation of the agency Jouin Manku in Paris.

For an authentic moment of relaxation

In the hôtel, at the garden level, in a peaceful environment, the Spa des Saules covers a vast space of 800m² with interior baths, a sauna, a steam room, an outdoor pool in stainless steel and beauty-care cabins.
Everything is done to experiment the total well-being and the Tandem sunloungers around the pool have their role to play ! With a modern and assertive design, these loungers are perfect for true relaxing breaks.
